My friend
Amanda wrote recently, and encouraged me to enter
this contest. I've never been one for the grilled cheese, generally speaking, but of course decided I had nothing to lose and only a good snack to gain.

here)... a high bar to live up to.
In my state of delirium on a Sunday afternoon concocting this and entering online, I didn't give the sandwich a proper name.... but I at least have a photo.
Inside this crusty baguette is a little Brie, some
Bucherondin (a nice chevre), a drizzle of honey, a few walnuts, and sprinkle of lavender, grey sea salt and some fresh cracked pepper.
Busy. Messy. Kind of awesome.
